THE WEEK IN FASHION: OCTOBER 15th- 19th

I'm taking a day off today to catch up on life and sleep after fashion weeks and getting lots of projects done in the aftermath. Next week, I'll be at-larging it NYC for the launch of H&M's much anticipated collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela. In the very excited meantime, here's a quick rundown of the ten fashion news stories you need to catch up on from this week.... Happy Weekend!

  4. The Chanel No.5 ad is causing controversy everywhere. Admittedly the initial emotion it evokes is disappointment. Here we have one of the most desired and well paid Hollywood actors of his generation and he ends up coming across as slightly cheesy and definitely less desirable than he was 30 seconds previously. Having said that, the ad makes more sense now the second part has been released. Queue Pitts brooding and moody monologue complete with elegant and sexy models dripping in luxury goods and soft lighting. If anything, this sort of proves that even if it is Brad Pitt, you can't rely on a man alone to sell the best selling womens fragrance of all time.
